GPS-PLUS

Passive ground detection

A passive ground detection system that is used to protect the most at risk targets. This system operates by measuring the pressure differences in the ground that occur when intruders approach and cross the detection field. GPSplus can be placed under different surfaces such as sand, clay, gravel, grass, paving and asphalt. However, it cannot be placed under concrete. The shape of the surface and other variables have no influence on the functioning of the system. Hills, curves, narrower detection breadths alternating broader detection breadths and ditches are no obstacles. The application and flexibility of this system are second to none. Due to its passive operation, GPSplus is unhindered by its surroundings and weather influences. It is also undetectable by other technology. Another advantage is the fact that you do not have to maintain the surface, i.e. mow or drain the lawn, etc. This is a considerable advantage with a large terrain! Moreover, it doesn’t take up any space; cars, lorries, containers and pallets can all occupy the space above the installation if needed.

GPS-PLUS (Ground Perimeter System)

How it works: The system registers pressure changes in the terrain’s surface when it detects running, jumping, driving, etc.
Location: In all surface areas and underneath sand, grass, pebbles, paving, asphalt etc.
Maximum length: The multiplex edition measures 12.8 kilometres and the stand-alone 400 metres. The detection strip is about 3 metres wide.
Minimum length: Ten metres.
Alarm zone: A maximum of 4 zones (in stand-alone).
Weather influence: None.
Small animals: Small animals do not set off the alarm.
Advantages: Invisible and undetectable, unaffected by the weather and it takes up no space so it leaves room for parking. Applicable in hilly terrain. Aesthetically pleasing.
Drawbacks: Does not work in reinforced concrete.
Application: Private customers, companies and/or institutions that require a high to very high security level.
